With a sigh of relief, Spring is almost here. I am finally getting over being sick for the last couple of weeks, and I am ready for a BIG change! While suffering through a fever one night several days ago, I had a very vivid abstract kind of dream. There were Beatles tunes playing and I had visions of blue and purple swirling skies, and tattered orange and yellow ribbons blowing in the air…I felt like I was floating in the water. It was all very hyper-real.
As soon as I was feeling better, I tried to quickly sketch some interpretations of that dream…
I’ve started a couple of paintings from those sketches – “sky of blue and sea of green” and “tangerine trees and marmalade skies”
