if you’ve never been to the Dallas Arboretum, you are missing an amazing adventure. anyone who enjoys a walk outdoors should definitely go.
it was a slightly overcast and breezy spring day when i attended the annual Dallas Blooms Festival (March 5 – April 10, 2011) at the Dallas Aboretum. i was instantly reminded how the experience initiates a pleasant sensory overload when i stepped into the garden.
this is my 2nd visit to the event. there were far more poppies blooming on this visit and a lot less daffodils, probably because it was later in the season. i captured SO many amazing photos for painting inspiration – a perfect document from my trip through the garden.
