i’ve been working on a series inspired by my 2011 visit to the Dallas Blooms Festival at the Dallas Arboretum for the last couple of months. it includes three 6″ x 9″ paintings and three 3″ x 4″ watercolor paintings – using some of my photos for reference.
the series documents a visual trip through the garden. the paintings give the viewer an idea that whether they view the landscape at a distance, or take a step in for a closer look; each moment is part of a big adventure.
