Saturday, January 28th 2012 was the last day, and closing reception for “The Lady” exhibition at Bath House Cultural Center, Dallas, TX (thats me with my painting, “On the Surface”, pictured above). It was also the closing reception for the “Fresh Faces 2×2″ exhibit in the main gallery, which was an awesome show of local art. It was such an honor to be a part of this exhibit; I hope to participate in more at the Bath House this year.

I was recently selected to be one of seventeen artists featured in “The Lady” exhibition, at The Bath House Cultural Center (Dallas, TX) – in the White Rock Lake Museum. My watercolor & ink painting “on the surface” will be featured as part of this small works exhibit. the art will explore the story behind the lady of White Rock Lake -
“The tale goes that the ghost of a girl in her early 20s will appear at night, dripping wet in 1920s dinner evening wear, and a car passing along the road circling the lake will stop. The girl tells the driver she had an accident and needs to get home. The driver will then drive to the address given, and when he (or she) arrives, the girl is gone, leaving only a waterlogged seat…” more >
