i recently got to visit carlsbad caverns in new mexico with my family, and the experience was so amazing, it made my “art mind” go crazy! so, i’ve started a new summer series of watercolors based on our trip, called “things that grow in the dark”. the style will be a bit more on the abstract side ~ hoping to capture more than just the visual aspect of the caverns.
